Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Voltix: Charge Speed Meter handles information when you use our Android application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our data practices.
By using Voltix, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
1. Information We Collect
Voltix is designed to work entirely on your device. We collect no personal information — no name, email, phone number, or location.
The app reads the following data from your device's battery system API:
- Battery charge level (percentage)
- Charging state (charging, discharging, full)
- Charging type (slow, normal, fast, turbo)
- Voltage and current readings
- Battery temperature
- Estimated time to full charge
All data is read-only and processed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to any external server.
2. How We Use Information
Battery data is used solely to power app features — real-time charging speed display, charging type detection, battery level, temperature monitoring, and the charging forecast. No data is used for profiling or advertising targeting.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Voltix displays banner ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device Advertising ID, IP address, and app interaction data to serve ads. This is governed by Google's policies, not ours.

4. Permissions We Request
No camera, microphone, location, contacts, or file storage permissions are requested or used.
5. Data Storage & Retention
Voltix only stores in-app preferences (theme, notifications, animation settings) locally on your device via Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app removes all stored preferences.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. The only third-party service used is Google AdMob (Section 3). We hold no personal user data to disclose under any legal request.
7. Children's Privacy
Voltix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us at zoxobook@gmail.com if you have concerns.
8. Security
Voltix does not transmit or store personal data. All battery readings are made locally via Android's read-only BatteryManager API. We follow Android security best practices in development.
9. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Clear app data in Android Settings to reset preferences
- Opt out of personalized ads via Settings → Google → Ads
- Reset your Advertising ID anytime in Android Settings
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect any changes. Significant updates will be communicated via in-app notice or updated Play Store listing.
